EDUCATION

For over fifteen years, Gruppo S.I. has been providing training courses designed around the needs of its client companies. This flexibility is achieved by organizing the training offering into modular, combinable components. Participation in each module is limited to a small number of individuals. Gruppo S.I.'s teachers are professionals with many years of experience in the IT industry.

The courses typically provided by Gruppo S.I. fall within the scope of Enterprise Information Systems and their automation. They are aimed at evolving the client company’s personnel towards the development and management of complex software systems using engineering-based methods. Classroom training provides participants with theoretical knowledge on the topics covered and, at the same time, initiates them into the design and development of software systems whose complexity is similar to that of IT systems of today’s companies.

The delivery of the various modules is “learner-centered” and also includes the development of “project-works” within each one. There is extensive evidence in the literature regarding the effectiveness of this teaching method in terms of learner engagement and the quality/depth of their learning (see, for example, the references listed below).

The following figure shows training courses delivered in important corporate contexts.
